Troubleshooting \& Fault Finding** · Perform systematic troubleshooting of electrical faults such as tripped MCB/RCCB, faulty lighting circuits, power socket outlets, motors not starting, and control failures. · Use drawings, schematics, and single\-line diagrams to diagnose faults. · Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. · Ensure protection devices are not bypassed or tampered with. · Communicate findings clearly to supervisors and end users. **2\. Planned Preventive Maintenance \- PPM** · Carry out PPM activities on electrical assets including DBs, panels, MCCs, lighting systems, and power distribution systems – all electrical Equipment’s (VFD/UPS/CBS/Busbar/LVP). · Follow approved PPM checklists and maintenance sequences. · Conduct visual inspections, cleaning, and tightness/torque checks. · Record readings, observations, and abnormalities accurately. · Report defects, risks, or deviations immediately. **3\. Corrective Maintenance \- CM** · Execute minor corrective maintenance works such as replacing faulty light fittings, MCBs, accessories, and tightening loose terminations. · Ensure proper electrical isolation and safe work practices. · Use correct spare parts and materials as per specifications. · Perform testing after repair and restore systems safely. · Carry out proper handover after task completion. **4\. Use of Tools \& Measuring Instruments** · Select and use appropriate tools and measuring instruments for electrical tasks. · Operate multimeters, clamp meters, insulation resistance testers (Megger), battery analyzers, and thermal imagers correctly. · Ensure instruments are within calibration validity. · Handle, store, and maintain tools safely to prevent damage or injury. **5\. Identification of Electrical System Components** · Identify and understand the function of electrical components such as MCB, MCCB, RCCB, ACB, contactors, relays, busbars, earthing bars, capacitors, and timers. · Differentiate between control wiring and power wiring.
