Design \& Engineering** * Develop detailed MEP designs, layouts, calculations, and technical drawings. * Conduct load calculations, equipment sizing, and system modeling (HVAC, electrical, fire protection, plumbing). * Ensure designs comply with local building codes, standards, and project requirements. * Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and material proposals. **2\. Project Management \& Coordination** * Coordinate with architects, civil/structural teams, and contractors to ensure smooth integration of MEP systems. * Attend coordination meetings, resolve design conflicts, and manage on\-site technical issues. * Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems. * Monitor project progress, timelines, and quality of work. **3\. Compliance \& Quality Assurance** * Implement quality control procedures for MEP works. * Ensure safety regulations and industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IPC, etc.) are followed. * Conduct site inspections, system performance checks, and audits. **4\. Documentation \& Reporting** * Prepare technical reports, BOQs, specifications, and project documentation. * Maintain accurate records of design changes, approvals, and project correspondence. **Qualification \& Skills:** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, or related engineering discipline. * Professional certifications (LEED, PMP, PE, etc.) are a plus. * 2–5 years of GCC experience preferably in Qatar in Electrical field.
