Key Responsibilities: * Maintenance and Servicing: * Perform routine and preventive maintenance of VRV/VRF systems, split units, and package units and also refrigeration equipment (freezers, fridge, coolers, etc.). * Clean filters, check refrigerant levels, inspect electrical components, and calibrate thermostats and controls. * Ensure smooth functioning of indoor and outdoor VRF units by regularly inspecting compressor performance, fan operation, and inverter functions. * Perform leak detection, vacuuming, refrigerant recovery and recharging in accordance with safety and environmental standards. * Troubleshooting and Repair: * Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in VRV/VRF systems including communication failures, sensor malfunctions, and electronic expansion valve issues. * Interpret VRV/VRF system error codes using service tools and control panels to pinpoint system malfunctions. * Repair or replace defective components including compressors, fan motors, PCBs, sensors, and control boards. * Analyze system operating parameters such as pressure, temperature, and current to identify inefficiencies or failure trends. * Coordinate with OEM technical support or manuals when dealing with complex VRV/VRF issues.
