**ACCOUNTANT** JOB DESCRIPTION: * Maintain general ledger and all accounting entries. * Manage AP/AR and reconciliation processes. * Ensure timely closing of books (monthly/quarterly/year\-end) * Prepare and file tax returns and financial statements. * Implement internal financial controls. * Coordinate with auditors for annual financial audits. * Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements for investors. * Track and report use of investor funds. * Provide cash flow forecasts and performance metrics (e.g., NPL rate, portfolio growth, ROI). * Support investor audits and due diligence. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * CPA, CA, or ACCA preferred. * 5\+ years of accounting/finance experience. * **Fintech or lending/BFSI sector experience** strongly preferred. * Experience with investor reporting or working with VC\-funded startups is a major plus.
