**Job Purpose** The IT System Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software. The role ensures smooth operations, high availability, and security of all IT systems to support business needs. **Key Responsibilities** * Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and applications. * Manage Active Directory, email systems, and user accounts. * Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. * Perform regular system backups, updates, and patch management. * Ensure IT infrastructure security through firewalls, antivirus, and monitoring tools. * Manage LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi\-Fi, and other network components. * Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT service requests. * Maintain IT documentation, licenses, and inventory of hardware/software. * Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations. * Ensure compliance with company IT policies, data protection, and cybersecurity standards. **Qualifications \& Skills** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * Proven experience (3–5 years) as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role. * Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper\-V), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). * Experience with network technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, and switches. * Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions. * Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices. * Strong problem\-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. **Preferred Certifications** * Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate / MCSA * Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) * CompTIA Security\+ / Network\+ * VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Job Type: Full\-time Language: * English (Required) License/Certification: * Driving License in Qatar (Required) * QID (Required)
