Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers We are seeking a highly experienced **Senior Mechanical Engineer** with 10\+ years of experience to join our consultancy firm and lead the mechanical engineering functions within our MEP department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily engineering activities, reviewing and approving designs, and ensuring all mechanical systems meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and performance. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and oversee all mechanical engineering activities within the MEP department. * Review, evaluate, and approve mechanical designs and drawings. * Ensure compliance with local authorities’ regulations and standards. * Maintain alignment with client requirements, expectations, and project specifications. * Supervise project progress and ensure timely delivery of high\-quality work. * Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, structural, and architectural departments. * Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and design staff. * Ensure implementation of best engineering practices and quality assurance procedures. **Requirements** * Minimum **10 years of experience** in mechanical engineering design within a consultancy environment. * Proven experience in **commercial, residential, and mixed\-use building projects**. * Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and authority regulations. * Experience in design review, project coordination, and team leadership. * Excellent problem\-solving and decision\-making skills. **Education \& Certifications** * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory). **Preferred Skills** * Strong communication and leadership abilities. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Education: * Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: * Design Mechanical Engineer : 6 years (Preferred) * Review, evaluate \& approve designs \& drawings: 6 years (Preferred) * knowledge of MEP systems, codes \& authority regulations: 6 years (Preferred) * Coordinating with multidisciplinary : 6 years (Preferred) License/Certification: * QID (Preferred) * UPDA Grade preferable A (Preferred) * QCDD (Preferred) Work Location: In person
