Summary: This role involves performing routine maintenance, diagnosing faults, and repairing heavy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining accurate records. Highlights: 1. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment 2. Diagnose faults and repair equipment using various tools 3. Ensure full compliance with safety goals and procedures **Communication:** **Internal Communication:** * Manager , Supervisors \& Engineers \- Asset Mgmt Dept. * Asset Mgmt Maintenance Team * Asset Mgmt Planning Team **Purpose:** * To communicate and exchange information on equipment maintenance \& repair data **External Communication:** * Other Business Unit (Milaha) and Customers – As applicable * Dealers \& Supplier \- As applicable * Workshops \& Garages \- As applicable **Purpose:** * To communicate and exchange information on equipment maintenance \& repair data **Occupational Health \& Safety and Environment** **Accountability:** * Are accountable for their acts and omissions. **Responsibility:** * To follow agreed safe systems of work; to follow training and instructions; and to report accidents, incidents and near misses. **Authority:** * To stop work if they think the work is unsafe. **Education \& Professional Qualification:** * Technical High school Certificate or ITI or equivalent * Diploma preferred **Professional Experience:** * Minimum 2\-3 years of experience in the related position * Must have good knowledge of equipment maintenance drawings, repair procedures. **Geographic Experience:** * GCC experiences preferred * Valid Qatar driving license is advantage **Computer and Language Skills:** * Proficiency in computer applications for record\-keeping and reporting **Market / Industry / Functional Knowledge:** * Knowledge of diesel engine \- Mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatic components; ability To remove/ install parts; operating knowledge of tools, instruments, etc. **Related Professional Training, Certification, or Membership** **Mandatory:** •Must be familiar with different wide range of motor tools including hand and power Tools, prevision measuring tools and equipment **Preferred:** •Knowledge / experience and troubleshooting of the following crane Liebherr Or DEMAG Or GROVE, Tadano **Roles and Responsibilities** * Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, etc. * Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair Required * Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools * Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications * Monitor and maintain hydraulic fluid levels and quality, including filtration and fluid replacement. * Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies With minimal supervision. * Provide technical advice and assistance to other members of the engineering team, as well as monitoring and Controlling the quality of the hydraulic systems. * Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to determine the root causes of problems. * Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment manuals in the troubleshooting process. * Maintain proper records of consumables usage and disposal to update Equipment Controllers * Communicate and exchange information on equipment maintenance \& repair data with relevant personnel * Complete related paperwork required to complete job (work order, parts order, etc) accurately and timely. * Ensure full compliance with the safety goals, objectives, and procedures towards achieving zero LTI. * Perform housekeeping duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager or Safety advisors in accordance with Company policies \& procedures; * Available during off\-hours for rescheduling, technical assistance, and emergency response * Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Foreman and above. **Education \& Professional Qualification:** * Technical High school Certificate or ITI or equivalent * Diploma preferred **Professional Experience:** * Minimum 2\-3 years of experience in the related position * Must have good knowledge of equipment maintenance drawings, repair procedures. **Geographic Experience:** * GCC experiences preferred * Valid Qatar driving license is advantage **Computer and Language Skills:** * Proficiency in computer applications for record\-keeping and reporting **Market / Industry / Functional Knowledge:** * Knowledge of diesel engine \- Mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatic components; ability To remove/ install parts; operating knowledge of tools, instruments, etc. **Related Professional Training, Certification, or Membership** **Mandatory:** •Must be familiar with different wide range of motor tools including hand and power Tools, prevision measuring tools and equipment **Preferred:** •Knowledge / experience and troubleshooting of the following crane Liebherr Or DEMAG Or GROVE, Tadano
