**Job Posting Date:** 4 Oct 2025 **Work Location:** Ras Laffan, QA **Company:** QatarEnergy LNG **Job Purpose** --------------- * Provide expert level support to control systems engineering activities to contribute to department objectives in meeting Company strategy. **Job Context \& Major Challenge(s)** ------------------------------------- * Operates in technical environment with interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders. * Required to contribute to other multi\-disciplinary tasks whilst providing expertise in specialised area. **Key Job Accountabilities** ---------------------------- * Provide control system engineering support to contribute to the division strategy and goals. That includes design reviews, specifications review/update, studies, failure analysis and advanced troubleshooting. * Define and document surveillance and administration programs for critical control systems to achieve high standards of reliability, availability, and cyber security. * Define and document best practices within the area of expertise and recommend performance improvement initiatives. * Act as Subject Matter Expert and/or as Technical Authority in area of specialization. * Provide technical input related to area of expertise to other disciplines and functions as per requirements to support their business objectives. * Control and supervise the activities undertaken by contractors, consultants, and service providers. * Guide less experienced engineers in implementing the company integrity and reliability systems. * Create and define competency development plan and mentor National developees to develop their capabilities and their knowledge. **Qualifications** ------------------ * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. **Knowledge and/or Experience** ------------------------------- * 8 years’ experience in an oil and gas environment. * Experience in control systems such as Foxboro, Emerson, Honeywell, Triconex, CCC, PLCs and Applications such as AMS, APC, PI systems, etc. * Knowledge of relevant international standards such as IEC, ANSI/ISA and API RP and their application is necessary.
