**Job Posting Date:** 17 Jul 2025 **Work Location:** Ras Laffan, QA **Company:** QatarEnergy LNG **Job Purpose** --------------- * Coordinate and plan all marine and aviation logistical requirements to and from offshore in support of companies offshore and drilling operational requirements, to ensure uninterrupted safe \& efficient operations. **Job Context \& Major Challenge(s) \- I** ------------------------------------------ * Evaluating the most efficient and cost\-effective approach to schedule logistic support for transfer to offshore via scheduled and non\-scheduled means to meet customer and company requirements. * Required to work 7 day a week and often works under high pressure. **Key Job Accountabilities \- I** --------------------------------- * Support offshore platforms with the delivery of materials, equipment, spare parts, process and pipeline chemicals, Heli fuel and personnel transfers to meet operational objectives. * Coordinate marine vessel loading and unloading operations, prepare shipping \& aviation documents including manifests, dangerous goods declarations and cost reports adhering to Company procedures. * Coordinate with Supply department in preparing the scope of work for marine, aviation and chemical contract agreements in accordance with established procedures. * Contribute to the development of policies, procedures and standards governing Company’s aviation, marine operations, movement of equipment, materials, pipeline and process chemicals between offshore and onshore facilities always ensuring operational alignment. * Control and coordinate the requirements of Doha Heliport and Ras Laffan Port Liaison concerning helicopters, vessel arrivals, departures, clearances, pilot exemptions, movements of company and third\-party personnel promoting operational efficiency. **Key Job Accountabilities \- II** ---------------------------------- * Prepare load lists, supervises loading of supply vessel, compiles manifest shipping documentation and verifies individual/collective cargo weights. Maintains cargo movement statistics for audit and departmental reporting. * Coordinate vessel and helicopter contracts to ensure contractor compliance and remedy non\-compliance issues. Ensures that vessel passengers are fully briefed and familiar with the safety and emergency procedures prior to boarding supporting operational safety objective. * Conduct toolbox talks with crew prior to each loading and offloading operation and ensuring all load checks are in compliance with certified offshore lifts. * Coordinate daily scheduling and planning of Company’s marine, air operations, coordinates all safety standby vessel operations, crewing, maintenance days and consumptions are upheld for Operations with regular review of weather forecast. * Compile day\-to\-day data on fuel, water, consumables and crewing required for audits. Coordinates helicopters operations providing the required number of daily flights between Doha and operation locations and various inter\-field locations for operational tracking. **Qualifications** ------------------ * Higher National Diploma (HND) in Operations, or Maintenance. **Knowledge and/or Experience \- I** ------------------------------------ * 8 years’ experience in Offshore Logistics (Marine or Helicopter or Chemical). * Varied experience in handling materials, hazardous chemicals, equipment and logistic activities in supporting offshore Oil \& Gas operations. * Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.

* Control and monitor all project materials including bulk materials, piping, valves, structural steel, electrical and instrumentation items * Ensure materials are available at site as per construction priorities and project schedule * Maintain accurate inventory records in systems. * Track material receipts, issues, transfers, and returns. * Prevent material shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence * Coordinate closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Construction, Planning, QA/QC, and Logistics teams. * Support material requirement planning based on drawings and construction schedules. * Liaise with subcontractors for material allocation and control. * Participate in weekly material status and coordination meetings. * Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and packing lists * Coordinate with QA/QC for material inspection and release * Ensure proper storage, preservation, and identification of materials as per project and vendor requirements * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly material status reports * Assist in material reconciliation and close\-out at project completion * Promote safe material handling and storage practices **Qualifications \& Experience** * Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field * Minimum 5–10 years experience in material control for Oil \& Gas projects * Previous experience in Ras Laffan or QatarEnergy projects is highly preferred * Knowledge of LNG project requirements is an advantage. **Job Summary:** We are seeking experienced and technically competent **Quantity Surveyors – Technical Services** to support the successful planning and execution of **Turnaround (TA) / Shutdown (SD)** activities at Ras Laffan. The ideal candidates will have a solid background in cost estimation, technical planning, and progress measurement, with a deep understanding of maintenance shutdowns and turnarounds in the oil \& gas or industrial sectors. **Key Responsibilities:** * Support **TA/SD planning and execution** through accurate quantity take\-offs, cost estimation, and resource planning. * Collaborate with planning teams to align work scope, budgets, and schedules using **Primavera P6** or **MS Project**. * Utilize **SAP PM Module** for work order management, tracking, and reporting. * Verify and validate material quantities, service entries, and contractor bills. * Monitor actual work progress, prepare variance reports, and highlight deviations from planned scope. * Support the preparation of **work packs**, job cards, and measurement sheets. * Assist in the evaluation and documentation of **change orders**, **variations**, and **additional work requests** during shutdowns. * Provide support in compiling **closeout reports** and post\-shutdown analysis. * Ensure alignment with company’s QA/QC standards, safety procedures, and technical specifications. **Qualifications \& Experience:** * **Education:** Diploma in Engineering or Quantity Surveying. * **Experience:** * Minimum **10 years** of overall experience in Quantity Surveying. * At least **5 years** of hands\-on experience in **Turnaround / Shutdown (TA/SD)** projects. * Solid understanding of planning and cost control in industrial maintenance or oil \& gas environments. **Key Skills:** * Proficiency in **MS Project** and/or **Primavera (P6\)**. * Strong working knowledge of **SAP PM Module** operations. * Proficient in preparing cost reports, tracking progress, and handling technical documentation. * Fluent in **English** – both written and verbal communication. * Strong analytical, coordination, and reporting abilities. * Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high\-pressure turnaround environment. **Other Information:** * **Contract Type:** Short\-Term (4 months, with possibility of extension) * **Work Environment:** Fast\-paced shutdown/turnaround industrial site * **FAT:** Negotiable. * **No. of Positions:** 6 Nos. **Location:** Ras Laffan, Qatar **Duration:** 4 Months (Extendable) **FAT (Food, Accommodation, Transport):** Negotiable Job Type: Full\-time
