Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and service providers. **Shipment Coordination \& Execution** * Coordinate the end\-to\-end movement of goods, including inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery to customers and distribution centers. * Schedule and track shipments via air, sea, and land freight, monitoring progress and proactively addressing delays or issues. * Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, and customs brokers to arrange transportation. * Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, airway bills, packing lists, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and other customs documents. **Inventory \& Warehouse Coordination** * Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods. * Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock reconciliation as needed. * Communicate inbound shipment schedules to warehouse teams to ensure adequate receiving capacity. **Customs \& Compliance** * Prepare and submit customs declarations and ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations. * Stay informed about changes in customs regulations, import/export restrictions, and trade agreements. * Ensure all shipments comply with applicable laws, including sanctions, restricted party screening, and hazardous materials regulations. * Work with customs brokers to resolve clearance issues and minimize delays. **Supplier \& Carrier Management** * Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other service providers. * Negotiate rates and service levels with carriers to optimize cost and delivery performance. * Monitor carrier performance and provide feedback to management for vendor evaluations. **Documentation \& Record Keeping** * Maintain accurate and organized records of all shipments, including tracking information, costs, and documentation. * Ensure all logistics documents are properly filed and easily accessible for audits or reporting purposes. * Prepare regular reports on shipment status, costs, and key performance indicators for management. **Problem Solving \& Issue Resolution** * Proactively identify and resolve logistics issues, including delays, damages, customs holds, and documentation discrepancies. * Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers regarding shipment status and any issues that arise. * Escalate complex issues to management with proposed solutions.
