Summary: The Project Manager will lead construction and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with quality, HSE, budget, and schedule requirements, with a focus on government/ASHGHAL projects. Ensure projects meet time, cost, quality, and safety requirements. **Job Summary:** The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, coordination, monitoring, and successful completion of construction and renovation projects while ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, budgets, and project schedules. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing **government/ASHGHAL projects in Qatar**, coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal technical teams. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage the complete project lifecycle from **mobilization through completion and handover**. * Plan, coordinate, and execute building construction, renovation, refurbishment, and maintenance\-related projects. * Ensure projects are delivered within the approved **time, cost, quality, and safety requirements**. * Review contract documents, specifications, drawings, BOQs, scope of work, and project requirements. * Develop and monitor detailed project schedules and execution plans. * Coordinate with **ASHGHAL, consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and government authorities** as required. * Lead project meetings and prepare progress reports, minutes of meetings, and action plans. * Monitor project progress against approved schedules and establish recovery plans where delays occur. * Coordinate with Civil, MEP, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Procurement, and Commercial teams. * Review technical submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and RFIs. * Ensure construction activities are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements. * Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance. * Control project costs and coordinate with the Commercial/Quantity Surveying team regarding variations, claims, and payment applications. * Identify potential project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures. * Ensure proper coordination between construction and MEP activities. * Monitor quality control and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly. * Ensure compliance with project\-specific **HSE requirements and Qatar regulations**. * Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover. * Manage client/consultant comments and ensure timely closure of observations and NCRs. * Maintain proper project documentation and records. * Prepare regular **weekly and monthly project progress reports** for management. * Ensure successful completion and handover of projects within contractual requirements. * Support the preparation of final accounts, as\-built documentation, O\&M manuals, and close\-out documentation. ASHGHAL Project Responsibilities The candidate should preferably have practical experience dealing with **ASHGHAL projects and procedures**, including: * Coordination with ASHGHAL representatives and consultants. * Understanding project specifications and contractual requirements. * Managing inspections and approvals. * Coordinating material and technical submissions. * Managing RFIs, MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, and other project documentation. * Monitoring consultant comments and ensuring timely closure. * Managing snagging and de\-snagging activities. * Supporting project handover and completion procedures. * Ensuring compliance with applicable **Qatar construction standards and project requirements**. **Experience** * Minimum **15 years of overall construction experience**. * Minimum **5\-8 years of experience in Project Manager / Senior Project Management roles**. * Strong experience in **building construction and renovation/refurbishment projects**. * Previous experience working on **ASHGHAL projects in Qatar is highly preferred**. * Qatar/GCC construction experience is mandatory/preferred depending on project requirements. * Proven experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams.
