Summary: The Facility Supervisor will oversee factory construction works and then transition to managing overall facility maintenance, safety, and support services. Highlights: 1. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Role Overview: The Facility Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all civil, mechanical, fire protection systems, electrical, and infrastructure works during the factory construction phase, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Upon completion of the construction phase, the role will transition into managing the overall facility maintenance, kitchen equipment maintenance, safety, and support services of the factory. Key Responsibilities: Construction Phase * Supervise and monitor all civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and infrastructure works at the factory site. * Supervise the installation and testing of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, firefighting equipment, sprinkler systems, hydrants, emergency lighting, and fire suppression systems. * Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure timely project execution. * Monitor construction progress, quality standards, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications. * Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Review work schedules and ensure project milestones are achieved. * Identify and resolve site issues affecting project progress. * Verify contractor invoices, work completion reports, and project documentation. * Support project handover activities and commissioning of factory systems and equipment. Facility Operations Phase * Lead and supervise the facility team responsible for facility and kitchen equipment maintenance, housekeeping, security, and utilities. * Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings, machinery support systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and utility infrastructure. * Manage facility service contracts and vendor performance. * Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. * Develop maintenance plans and operational procedures for the factory. * Monitor facility budgets, asset management, and operational efficiency. * Coordinate emergency response and business continuity activities. Qualifications * Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline. Experience * Minimum 3\-5 years of experience in construction project supervision, facility management, or industrial operations. * Proven experience supervising civil and mechanical works during factory, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects. * Experience managing contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams. * Experience in facility operations and maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment is highly preferred. Skills \& Competencies * Strong knowledge of civil, mechanical, electrical, and utility systems. * Knowledge of Qatar civil defense requirements. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Strong project coordination and contractor management skills. * Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Leadership, problem\-solving, and communication skills.
