Optimize routes and vehicle utilization Job Description: Logistics Coordinator (Cross\-Border Transport) Location: Doha, Qatar Department: Operations / Logistics Reports To: Logistics Manager / Operations Manager Job Summary The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring cross\-border road transport operations between Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The role ensures the timely and cost\-effective movement of cargo while maintaining compliance with customs regulations, border procedures, and company standards. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily transportation activities for shipments between Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Schedule trucks, drivers, and deliveries to meet customer requirements. Track shipments from loading to final delivery and provide regular updates to customers. Prepare and verify shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, manifests, and customs documentation. Coordinate with customs brokers, clearing agents, freight forwarders, and transport partners to ensure smooth border clearance. Monitor vehicle movements using GPS and maintain communication with drivers during transit. Resolve operational issues such as border delays, documentation discrepancies, vehicle breakdowns, and customer complaints. Ensure compliance with GCC transport regulations, customs requirements, and company policies. Maintain accurate records of shipments, transportation costs, delivery performance, and logistics reports. Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and finance departments to ensure efficient operations. Optimize routes and vehicle utilization to reduce transportation costs and improve delivery performance. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics and KPI reports.
