Summary: Seeking an experienced engineer to monitor and maintain pumping stations, ensuring efficient and safe operations, coordinating maintenance, and responding to emergencies. Highlights: 1. Monitor and maintain pumping stations via SCADA and field inspections 2. Coordinate maintenance, emergency response, and operational procedures 3. Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and optimize station performance **Job description:** **Responsibilities (but not limited to):** * Monitor daily operations of SGW Pumping Stations through SCADA and field inspections. * Ensure pumping stations, pumps, valves, generators, and associated equipment operate efficiently and safely. * Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance activities. * Monitor pump performance, wet well levels, alarms, flow rates, and system pressures. * Respond to emergency breakdowns, flooding incidents, and rainy season operational requirements. * Coordinate with drainage network teams, control room operators, and field technicians during emergency operations. * Prepare daily operational reports, incident reports, and performance summaries. * Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, permit\-to\-work systems, and operational procedures. * Coordinate standby teams and emergency response activities during heavy rainfall events. * Verify operational readiness of backup systems including generators and emergency pumps. * Support optimization of pumping station performance and energy efficiency. * Liaise with clients, utility authorities, and operation stakeholders when required.. **Experience:** * Minimum 5–8 years of experience in water/wastewater utility operations or pumping station O\&M. * Experience in SGW, stormwater, sewerage, or wastewater pumping stations. * Knowledge of SCADA, PLC systems, pumps, motors, and utility operations. **Education:** * Degree in Engineering or similar experience **Others:** * UPDA\-registered / or to obtain this year (For engineering degree holder) * *Note: As per Qatar Law all engineer professionals must be registered to Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME)* *by taking and passing the UPDA exam.* **Job Location:** * Doha, Qatar * Willing to relocate full time **Language:** English Candidates may also send their credentials at info.qatar@aguasdevalencia.com Pay: From QAR1\.00 per hour Application Question(s): * Are you willing to relocate to Qatar? * Total Years of Experience: * Are you willing to obtain UPDA (MME) certification for engineers? * Joining Period: * Can you obtain "NOC"/transfer approval?
