Collaborate to translate business requirements into robust data solutions ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced and visionary Big Data Architect to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high\-performance big data ecosystems for Mirabus Peru’s operations in Qatar. You will lead the end\-to\-end architecture of data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses, ensuring seamless integration across multiple business units. You will collaborate with engineering, analytics, and product teams to translate business requirements into robust data solutions, enable advanced analytics, business intelligence, and data\-driven decision\-making, while adhering to global data governance and local regulatory standards. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5\+ years of proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise\-grade big data architectures. Deep expertise with big data frameworks and tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, Flink, and modern cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL/ELT pipeline design, data lake/warehouse architecture, and data governance best practices. Hands\-on experience with database systems including relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) technologies. Solid understanding of data security, privacy compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to Qatar and international standards.
