Chance to stay updated with latest AV & ELV technologies **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled AV Technician to installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of professional audio\-visual and other ELV systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of Audio Visual and other related systems in accordance with project requirements and industry standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of AV/ELV systems equipment’s including displays, projectors, speakers, amplifiers, microphones, cameras, processors, racks, and cabling. * Support in running, terminating, labeling, and testing structured cabling (CAT6, Fiber, HDMI, audio cables, control cables). * Support configuration of basic AV devices (DSPs, control processors, wireless microphones, video conferencing systems). * Attend emergency breakdowns and restore systems within agreed response times. * Conduct routine inspections and system health checks. * Assist engineers during system integration, testing, and handover. * Monitor system performance and recommend improvements where necessary. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system updates. * Report spare parts requirements and ensure availability of critical components. * Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools, testing instruments, and equipment. * Comply with safety standards and company procedures at all times. * Stay updated with the latest AV \& ELV technologies and industry practices. **Requirements \& Qualifications:** * Diploma or technical certificate in Electrical / Electronics / IT / Telecommunications * Minimum 2 \- 3 years of experience in AV \& ELV systems installation \& maintenance in the GCC region. * Proficient in AV equipment setup, troubleshooting and operation (Sound System, projectors, Video Conferencing Systems, Displays etc.) * Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills. * Ability to read and understand technical drawings and control schematics. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * AV / ELV related certifications will be an added advantage. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with AV technical support for high level meetings/events * Must possess a **valid QID with NOC for transfer** and be **available for immediate joining**.
