Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance We are hiring for our client, a reputed oil \& gas contracting company based in Qatar, currently engaged in a project in Ras Laffan. We are looking for Instrument Technicians with previous experience working on Shell projects, capable of handling instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting works efficiently in industrial environments. Position: Instrument Technician Number of Positions: 5 Location: Ras Laffan Mobilization Date: 15th May 2026 Working Hours: 10 hours per day Duration: 3 months (extendable) Work Days: Saturday to Thursday Salary: QAR 3,500 Food, accommodation, and transportation provided by the company. **Role Overview:** The Instrument Technician will be responsible for supporting maintenance and operational activities related to instrumentation systems and equipment at the project site. The role requires hands\-on experience in troubleshooting, inspection, calibration, and maintenance within oil \& gas environments, ensuring safe and efficient plant operations. **Key Responsibilities:** Carry out instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works. Inspect and maintain field instruments, control systems, and related equipment. Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and quality standards. Support site operations and maintenance activities as required. **Requirements:** Previous experience working on Shell projects is mandatory. Experience in instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to work in industrial/oil \& gas environments.
