The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and developing road infrastructure projects in accordance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality design solutions that support safe and efficient transportation networks. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare **roadway geometric designs**, including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross\-sections, and profiles. * Develop detailed **design drawings, calculations, and technical reports**. * Use engineering software such as **Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads** for design and modeling. * Conduct **traffic analysis, pavement design**, and drainage considerations for road projects. * Coordinate with survey teams and analyze topographic data to support design development. * Ensure designs comply with **local standards, codes, and regulations** (e.g., AASHTO, QCS, Ashghal standards if applicable). * Prepare and review **tender documents, BOQs, and specifications**. * Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and contractors throughout project stages. * Assist in resolving **design\-related issues** during construction. * Perform **site visits** as required to verify design accuracy and support project execution. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in **Civil Engineering** or related field (Master’s degree is a plus). * Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification preferred. * Minimum **3–7 years** of experience in road or highway design. * Strong knowledge of road design standards and best practices. * Proficiency in **AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, or similar software**.
