Engage in tender submissions and technical proposal preparation **Job Summary** The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive **cost estimates, BOQs, tender submissions, and technical proposals** for projects related to **road construction, asphalt works, utilities, infrastructure, and renovation works**. The role includes quantity take\-off, vendor pricing, subcontractor comparison, cost analysis, and preparation of commercial and technical bids in accordance with **Ashghal / QCS standards** and project specifications. **Key Responsibilities:** * Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and scope of work * Study contract conditions and tender requirements * Identify discrepancies and prepare tender clarifications * Attend pre\-bid meetings and site visits **Prepare detailed quantity take\-off for:** * Earthworks * Road subgrade and subbase * Asphalt works * Kerbstone and interlock * Drainage works * Stormwater networks * Sewerage and water pipelines * Electrical / telecom duct banks * Manholes and chambers * Road markings and signage * Renovation / maintenance works This scope is standard in current Qatar roads \& utilities roles. **Cost Estimation** Prepare detailed cost estimates for: * Materials * Labour * Equipment / machinery * Asphalt paving plants * Transportation * Overheads * Profit margin * Contingencies * Send RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors * Collect and evaluate quotations * Prepare commercial comparison sheets * Negotiate best market prices * Prepare technical and commercial bid documents * Ensure timely submission before deadline * Maintain tender log and cost database * Coordinate with planning, procurement, and technical office * Support handover to project execution team * Provide cost breakdown and pricing assumptions * Assist in variation pricing and VO submission **Project Scope Experience Required** Candidate must have experience in: * Road construction * Asphalt paving * Milling and resurfacing * Utility diversion works * Drainage / sewer works * TSE / potable water lines * Infrastructure renovation * Road rehabilitation * Maintenance contracts **Qualification** * Bachelor’s Degree in **Civil Engineering** * MMUP / UPDA preferred * Qatar driving license preferred **Experience** * Minimum 3\-4 years experience in Qatar Required * Must have Qatar / GCC roads \& utilities experience * Experience in Ashghal projects highly preferred * Knowledge of QCS / Ashghal standards mandatory **Software Skills** * AutoCAD * MS Excel (Advanced) * Candy / CCS / CostX (preferred) * MS Project / Primavera * ERP / estimation software Application Question(s): * Do you have experience in cost estimates, BOQs, tender submissions, and technical proposals for projects related to road construction, asphalt works, utilities, infrastructure, and renovation works ? * After selection you can join immediately?
