Experience in 11 kV switchgear installation, testing, and troubleshooting **Job Description** The Maintenance and Testing Engineer shall be responsible for executing the jobs at site in line with the requirements of the contract scope. He shall coordinate with Kahramaa Engineers for the issuance of safety documents. He shall supervise and control the staff under his responsibility and ensure that all procedures are carried out in accordance with Kahramaa safety rules and requirements. He shall arrange for materials to be collected from the Kahramaa store, coordinate site work with other service utilities, obtain the necessary approvals, and submit inspection and daily work reports. **Qualification and Experience** * Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution, university or college acceptable to Kahramaa. * Advanced training from a recognized organization in 11 kV switchgear maintenance. * Minimum three years of experience for an Electrical Engineering degree holder. * Minimum five years of experience for a Diploma holder. * Experience in an electrical power utility or company as an 11 kV switchgear specialist. * Sound knowledge of 11 kV switchgear installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting. * Engineers assigned for testing shall have relevant 11 kV switchgear testing experience. * Sound knowledge of relevant international standards. * Ability to communicate, read and write in English. * Mobile communication availability during normal and outside office hours for emergency contact. * Must pass the interview conducted by Kahramaa.
