Primary Purpose of the Job: Provide technical design and engineering services in Instrumentation \& Control Engineering for all assigned engineering projects. Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with QatarEnergy procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE. Required Experience and Skills: * 10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil \& Gas industry. * Conduct Instrumentation \& Control Engineering activities and in\-house site surveys for projects, from initial concept definition phase through to, engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning * Develop, update and monitor schedules for in\-house engineering activities, contribute to external FEED/EPIC scheduling activities and effective project delivery * Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance. * Review and evaluate the Contract Changes/Variation to approved guidelines and practices * Ability to identify and utilize relevant engineering standards and codes related to instrumentation engineering. * Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment. * Good communications and presentation skills with fluency in English. Educational Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation \& Electrical or Electrical \& Electronics Engineering. * Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable.
