The Role: What You’ll Do We are looking for an **Energy Systems Developer** to bridge the gap between software engineering, data science, and power systems modeling. You won't just be writing clean code; you will be building the structural toolchains, algorithmic models, and real\-time backend engines that simulate and optimize energy grids. Key Responsibilities: * **System Modeling \& Optimization:** Develop, scale, and integrate complex modeling frameworks (such as PyPSA, PLEXOS, or similar tools) to simulate electricity markets and grid infrastructure. * **Tooling \& Automation:** Build robust backend pipelines, APIs, and data\-import workflows to process vast amounts of weather, market, and load data. * **Algorithm Development:** Implement and optimize mathematical algorithms to solve multi\-variable energy flow, storage management, and grid reliability problems. * **Collaborative Engineering:** Work closely with our specialized team of energy consultants, economists, and senior software architects to turn theoretical energy scenarios into production\-ready software. What We’re Looking For (Requirements) * **Education:** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Energy Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. * **Coding Power:** Strong proficiency in **Python** (specifically libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and Pyomo/SciPy) or similar backend languages. * **Domain Knowledge:** A solid grasp of energy markets, grid dynamics, or renewable energy integration (experience with power flow simulations is a massive plus!). * **Data Stack:** Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and building scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines. * **Global Mindset:** Excellent communication skills in English; ability to collaborate effectively in an interdisciplinary, multi\-cultural environment.
