Summary: Seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to review designs, prepare technical documentation, and coordinate MEP projects within a technical office setting. Highlights: 1. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems **Mechanical Engineer – Technical Office (8–10 Years Experience)** **Key Responsibilities:** * Review and evaluate mechanical design drawings, specifications, and IFC documents. * Identify design discrepancies, clashes, and technical issues, and propose appropriate solutions. * Prepare, review, and coordinate mechanical shop drawings for submission and approval. * Prepare and submit material submittals, ensuring compliance with project specifications and client requirements. * Perform engineering calculations related to HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems as required. * Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams to obtain approvals and resolve technical issues. * Prepare technical reports, method statements, and other engineering documentation. * Support procurement activities by reviewing supplier technical offers and verifying compliance with project requirements. * Assist site teams by providing technical support and resolving engineering and construction\-related issues. * Ensure all technical submissions and engineering activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. * 8–10 years of experience in MEP projects, with a strong background in Technical Office and engineering works. * Proven experience in design review, shop drawing preparation, material submittals, and engineering calculations. * Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical building services systems. * Familiarity with relevant international codes, standards, and engineering practices. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant engineering software. * Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
