**Design Civil Engineer \- Wet Utilities, Surface Water, TSE irrigation, and Water Networks** **Location:** Qatar **Position Type:** Full\-Time **Position Overview:** The Design Civil Engineer will be responsible for delivering high\-quality design for wet utility systems including potable water networks, TSE networks, stormwater/drainage systems, and sewer networks. The role is fully design\-focused within a consultant environment, covering concept, detailed design, hydraulic analysis, and preparation of technical documents. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare detailed design and engineering deliverables for wet utility networks: * Potable water networks * TSE networks * Foul sewer systems * Surface water/stormwater networks * Manholes, chambers, pipelines, and associated infrastructure * Carry out hydraulic modeling and analysis using software such as **WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, Civil 3D, InfoWorks, EPANET**. * Prepare design drawings, profiles, BOQs, specifications, and calculations. * Ensure designs comply with local authority standards (Ashghal, Kahramaa, PWA) and international codes. * Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (roads, structural, MEP, geotechnical, environmental). * Support in preparing reports, design basis statements, and technical documentation. * Review and check design deliverables to meet QA/QC requirements. * Provide technical input for feasibility studies, concept design, and tender packages. * Respond to design\-related queries from internal teams and clients. **Qualifications \& Experience:** * **Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering** (Master’s preferred). * **Minimum 10 years of experience** in design of wet utilities and drainage networks within a consulting/design office. * Strong hands\-on expertise with: * AutoCAD, **Civil 3D**, MicroStation (optional) * WaterGEMS / SewerGEMS / StormCAD / EPANET / InfoWorks * Proven experience in producing full design packages: plans, profiles, hydraulic reports, material schedules, and technical specs. * Knowledge of Ashghal, PWA, Kahramaa, and QCS requirements (for Qatar roles) Job Type: Full\-time
