Coordinate with mechanical engineers and project managers **Position Title:** Mechanical Design AutoCAD Draftsman **Job Summary:** We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design AutoCAD Draftsman to prepare detailed mechanical drawings and technical layouts using AutoCAD software. The candidate will support engineers and project teams by creating accurate drafting designs for mechanical systems, fabrication, and construction projects. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and shop drawings using AutoCAD. * Develop 2D and 3D mechanical designs based on engineering requirements. * Revise and update drawings according to project changes and site conditions. * Coordinate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and other departments. * Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and project specifications. * Prepare as\-built drawings and documentation. * Maintain drawing records and technical files properly. * Assist in quantity take\-off and material estimation when required. * Conduct site visits if necessary for measurements and verification. **Requirements:** * Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. * At least 1 year of experience as Mechanical Draftsman or AutoCAD Draftsman. * Proficiency in AutoCAD software. * Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, or mechanical systems is an advantage. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
