Drive cross-departmental project implementations and system utilization. ### **General Information** Ref \# 2600007U Location Qatar\-Doha Job family Engineering * Closing Date: 2026\-06\-01 ### **Description** **About the Role** You will be responsible for identifying potential areas for process improvement, design new processes and guide process changes and provide the required guidance for sustainable implementations in Technical. **Key Responsibilities:*** Organizes and supervises the continuous improvement activities across Technical to ensure that the process and procedures are continuously evaluated and enhanced as per the changing needs * Measures process gaps, defines process improvements, implements process changes and controls that the changes meet the defined business results. * Develop process measurement and automated KPI reporting by maintaining data accuracy in the MRO system. * Implement process changes bringing along industry best practices and ensured a sustainable result by recurrent measurement and procedure development. * Detailed understanding of our MRO systems, identify gaps in existing process and system capability and propose areas for improvement. * Lead and control the project implementations across Technical MRO ensuring projects are completed as per the organization project guidelines. * Oversee the engagement with stakeholders in Technical, Flight Ops and other dependent departments and drives successfully cross departmental projects implementations. * Develops and maximizes the use of the MRO systems and proposes system enhancements in order to have the best system utilization. * Develops and executes system and data\-oriented approaches in order to support data\-driven objective business decisions. Develop the required system metrics in order to have standard objective measurements. * Adopts a positive and result\-driven culture by engaging and motivating other project team members. * Develops cross functional capability by implementing and executing cross department projects. * Actively promote continuous improvement and lean principles across Technical MRO through training of staff, engagement workshops and implementing projects. * Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department. **Be part of an extraordinary story** Your skills. Together, everything is possible. ### **Qualification** The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: **Essential** * High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 5 years of job\-related experience OR * Bachelor’s Degree with Minimum 4 years of job\-related experience. * Detailed Knowledge of MRO systems and its integration with other Aviation / M\&E system modules including capabilities, limitations \& best practices. * Awareness of project management methodologies. * Must have a strong, demonstrated commitment to customer service and be committed to proactive review of functional processes and procedures to continually enhance service quality, service delivery and support. * Interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical QR Staff at all levels. **Preferred** * Detailed knowledge of Airline and MRO systems * Project Management knowledge * Development knowledge of M\&E systems reports/dashboards **Essential Skills** * Awareness of project management methodologies. * Knowledge of integration between MRO system modules including capabilities, limitations \& best practices. * Must have a strong, demonstrated commitment to customer service and be committed to pro\-active review * of processes and procedures to continually enhance service quality, service delivery and support. * Interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical QR Staff at all levels. **About Qatar Airways Group** Our story started with four aircraft.
