**Position :\- QA/QC Engineer** Location: Qatar **Contract Duration:** 3 months (extendable) **Working Days:** Saturday to Thursday **Monthly Salary:** QAR 8,000 (full package) **Start Date:** Immediate joiners preferred **About the Role** Our client, a leading construction company in Qatar, is seeking an experienced **QA/QC Engineer** to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 9\-10 years of proven experience in **quality assurance and quality control within the construction industry**, with hands\-on expertise in implementing QA/QC systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. This role involves supervising QA/QC site teams, coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and consultants, and maintaining strict adherence to quality standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Implement and monitor site QA/QC plans as per contract conditions. * Prepare project\-specific QA plans, ITPs, checklists, and review method statements and material submittals. * Maintain calibration registers for GCC and subcontractor equipment. * Coordinate with project managers on material and subcontract procurement schedules; secure approvals from clients/authorities. * Conduct material inspections for GCC and subcontractors. * Supervise, train, and mentor QA/QC site personnel. * Coordinate with subcontractors for routine material testing. * Liaise with clients/consultants for field testing and obtain necessary approvals. * Prepare daily site inspection reports and maintain all approval records. * Participate in QA/QC meetings, internal audits, and client certification audits. * Maintain and distribute QC records at site. * Support QA/QC Manager with day\-to\-day activities and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards. * Prepare job close\-out documentation and perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or related field). * Minimum 9\-10 years of QA/QC experience in construction/contracting, preferably in the GCC region. * Strong knowledge of **ISO 9001** and QA/QC standards. * Experience in preparing ITPs, method statements, and QA/QC documentation. * Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills. * Ability to lead and mentor site QA/QC personnel.
