




We are looking for an experienced **quantity surveyor** with a solid background in quantity surveying within building projects. The ideal candidate is responsible for carrying out detailed quantification for multidisciplinary projects. The role ensures that complete tender documents and submissions are in line with the requirements. Visiting sites during the pretender stage. The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria: **Key Requirements:** * Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent. * Experience: 8\-10 years in similar role especially Construction Industry. * In\-depth knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and international standards. * Experience in the use of computer\-based quantification and knowledge in using systems such as CCS(Candy); Knowledge in using Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Power point, outlook express, etc.); Experience in the optimal use of AutoCAD for Quantity Takeoff; Knowledge in preparation of Bill of Quantities with standard method of measurement; Knowledge in Principles of Measurement (International) NRM2 CESSMMIII, FIDIC \& candy. * Excellent organizational, documentation, and problem\-solving skills. **Responsibilities:** * Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQs) from Tender design IFC drawings, specifications, and site information. * Review project drawings and specifications to ensure cost implications are clearly captured and communicated. * Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier invoice for materials, services, and works, ensuring value for money and scope compliance. * Assess and value project variations, claims, and change orders in coordination with site teams and project engineers. * Support procurement activities by providing quantity breakdowns, price analysis, and technical inputs during the tendering process. * Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to identify and recommend cost\-effective alternatives or value engineering opportunities. * Participate in tender preparation, bid analysis, and post\-tender clarifications by contributing cost\-related data and supporting documentation. * Conduct periodic cost forecasting and cash flow analysis to inform project and commercial planning decisions. * Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and payment procedures as per QCS, FIDIC, SMM7, NRM2 and other governing standards. * Support project teams in preparing interim payment applications, final accounts, and reconciliation statements. * Assist in preparing and reviewing subcontract agreements and payment certificates, ensuring proper documentation and approvals are in place. * Maintain up\-to\-date records of all financial correspondence, variations, approvals, and cost\-related documentation for auditing and reference. * Ensure all cost\-related processes and documentation comply with relevant standards such as QCS, FIDIC, and project\-specific contractual requirements.
