**Job Purpose** The QA/QC Engineer – Electrical is responsible for ensuring that all electrical works and projects are executed in accordance with approved specifications, international quality standards, and good engineering practices. The role ensures timely project completion while achieving a high standard of quality that meets or exceeds client expectations. The position also supports the development and implementation of the Project Quality Management System (QMS), including policies, procedures, and work instructions. **Key Responsibilities** * Monitor and control all aspects of quality assurance and quality control for electrical works at the project site. * Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), inspection checklists, and related quality procedures in compliance with the QMS requirements. * Conduct pre\-inspection activities at site and coordinate inspections with consultants. * Submit work inspection requests (WIR) and material inspection requests (MIR) after confirming work completion with the construction team. * Review, finalize, and maintain all quality documentation to verify completed works. * Ensure all consultant comments and inspection remarks are communicated to the site team and properly rectified. * Verify test reports to ensure compliance with contract specifications, approved method statements, and standards. * Ensure project quality objectives are achieved and maintained at site. * Inspect incoming materials to confirm compliance with approved specifications and standards. * Follow up and close all Non\-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in coordination with the site team and Management Representative. * Report any deficiencies in the quality management system to the Senior QA/QC Engineer, QA/QC Manager, or Project Manager. * Prepare quality documentation in a professional and contract\-compliant manner. * Oversee and participate in audits of subcontractors’ Quality Management Systems. * Prepare project close\-out documentation, including Operation and Maintenance (O\&M) Manuals, in coordination with discipline engineers. * Monitor, follow up, and control snagging and de\-snagging activities raised by the Main Contractor or Consultant. **Qualifications \& Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. * Minimum **5–10 years of experience** as an **Electrical QA/QC Engineer** in construction projects. * Strong knowledge of international quality standards and QMS procedures. * Experience working with consultants and main contractors. * Excellent documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
