Ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and approved regulations Job Description – Building MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Project Coordinator **Job Title:** Building MEP Project Coordinator (MEP) **Location:** State of Qatar **Job Summary:** The Building MEP Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems work within building construction projects, ensuring integration of these systems with architectural and structural works, and their execution in accordance with drawings, schedules, technical standards, safety requirements, and quality requirements. **Key Duties and Responsibilities:** * Coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems work in projects. * Review construction drawings, technical drawings, and material submittals. * Ensure coordination among mechanical, electrical, architectural, and structural works. * Monitor project schedules and track installation progress. * Resolve technical clashes and on-site coordination issues. * Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. * Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and approved regulations. * Support system testing, commissioning, and final handover activities. * Conduct site visits to verify execution quality and accuracy. * Assist in material approval and procurement processes related to MEP systems. * Prepare periodic reports and manage project documentation. * Support the Project Manager in achieving project objectives and milestones. **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. * Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Building MEP project coordination. * Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and low-voltage systems. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is preferred. * Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Prior experience in GCC countries’ projects is an added advantage. Salary: QAR21,500.00 per month Work Location: On-site
