Planning \& Coordination** * Develop, update, and manage the T\&C plan and schedule for all substation equipment (GIS, transformers, protection relays, breakers, LCC panels, SCADA, telecom, etc.). * Coordinate between EPC contractor, OEMs, Kahramaa inspectors, QA/QC, and construction teams to ensure readiness for each T\&C stage. * Ensure all pre\-commissioning documentation is completed (I.T.Ps, method statements, checklists, FAT/SAT reports). **2\. Testing \& Commissioning Execution** * Oversee testing of primary equipment: + GIS, power transformers, instrument transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, earthing switches, busbar schemes. * Supervise testing of secondary systems: + Protection relays (distance, differential, overcurrent, transformer protection, busbar protection). + SCADA, RTU/BCU configurations, communication interfaces (IEC 61850, IEC 60870\-5\-104\). + Interlocking schemes, control \& automation, annunciations, SOE. * Review all test reports before submission to Kahramaa. * Verify system integration and perform functional checks during energization and load tests. **3\. Compliance \& Documentation** * Ensure all commissioning work complies with Kahramaa regulations, project specifications, and international standards (IEC, IEEE). * Prepare and maintain T\&C documents: test reports, red\-mark drawings, energization permits, NCR close\-outs, as\-built documentation. * Track and close punch\-list items related to testing and commissioning. **4\. Safety \& Quality** * Enforce safety requirements for high\-voltage testing and switching operations. * Participate in risk assessments and ensure proper isolation, LOTO, and energization protocols. * Ensure quality of T\&C work through audit and inspections. **5\. Stakeholder Interface** * Act as the main point of contact with Kahramaa Transmission Department for all T\&C activities. * Schedule inspections, obtain approvals for test procedures, and secure energization clearances. * Coordinate with OEM specialists and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
