Support strategic decision-making with financial insights **Job Title:** Cost Control Engineer **Job Summary:** We are looking for an experienced and detail\-oriented Cost Control Engineer to manage project costing, budgeting, and financial monitoring activities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing standardized costing systems, monitoring cost performance, supporting bid preparation, and providing accurate financial insights to management. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain standardized costing templates covering all cost categories. * Ensure consistent costing assumptions and methodologies across all departments. * Establish structured data submission requirements for timely and accurate cost inputs. * Introduce and maintain dashboards for variance analysis and cost monitoring. * Identify cost inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions. * Prepare regular reports on cost drivers, trends, and budget performance for management review. * Conduct quarterly market research and benchmarking to update cost assumptions. * Maintain an updated cost library reflecting current market rates and supplier pricing. * Support competitive bid preparation using data\-driven costing models. * Collect, review, and validate cost inputs from Finance, Operations, HR, Procurement, and HSEQ departments. * Ensure completeness and accuracy of cost data through effective cross\-functional coordination. * Provide guidance and training to departments on cost control procedures and best practices. * Establish clear reporting structures under Finance \& Commercial departments. * Deliver transparent and timely cost control reports to management. * Support strategic decision\-making by highlighting cost implications of projects and commercial bids. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field. * Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred. * Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or management accounting. * Experience in facility management, real estate, construction, or service industries preferred. * Strong analytical, reporting, and problem\-solving skills. * Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and cost management tools. * Excellent communication and coordination abilities. **Preferred Skills:** * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. * Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
