




Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong hands-on experience in mechanical design and manufacturing for automotive related metal structures. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, prototyping and executing production of mechanical parts, mounting brackets, sheet metal structures, and vehicle accessory components. --- Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical parts & assemblies for automotive applications (car brackets, mounting solutions, enclosures, holders, etc.) Create detailed 2D/3D models, assemblies and drawings using SolidWorks / CAD software Perform conceptual design, tolerance analysis, material selection and DFM Prepare BOM, manufacturing drawings, machining guidance & technical specifications Coordinate prototype production – sheet metal, CNC machining, laser cutting, bending, welding, drilling, tapping, grinding, finishing etc Work closely with workshop production team to monitor & optimize fabrication process Ensure quality, structural strength, dimensional accuracy and functional performance Support R&D – test fitment on vehicle, evaluate improvements, revise designs Work with suppliers/vendors for outsourced components and ensure design compliance Maintain documentation, revision control, testing reports and engineering data --- Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Proficiency in SolidWorks is must (part/assembly/modelling/simulation) Strong experience in CAD drafting and GD&T Direct hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication, CNC milling, drilling, grinding, cutting, welding Practical experience in structural component design for real application (preferred automotive or industrial) Experience in material selection (Mild Steel, Aluminium, Stainless Steel) Good understanding in manufacturing processes, jigs & fixtures --- Preferred Experience Automotive accessories / off-road accessories / vehicle mounting brackets Prototype development & testing Small batch and mass production methods Knowledge of surface finishing (Powder coating, anodizing, painting etc.) --- Personal Attributes Strong problem-solving & technical evaluation capability Good communication & reporting skills Ability to work fast in R&D and short development cycles Innovative mindset and attention to precision details Job Type: Full-time
