Job Description **Hostess (Seasonal)** This position is responsible in ensuring a high quality of service in greeting and assisting our guests. Be familiar with the Restaurant menus and be able to upsell. * Welcome guests to the venue and consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service. * Greet guests upon their departure. * Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists to assist guests regarding all food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way. * Manage reservations. * Have full knowledge of food and beverages list and promotions. * Escort the guest to dining or bar areas. * Provide menus and announce the waiter /waitress’s name following outlets policies, procedures, and service standards. * Coordinate with the team bout available seating options. * Follow all safety and sanitation policies when communicating with guests. Qualifications * High School Diploma * Previous Hostess experience is an asset * Knowledge about the Point\-of\-Sale System is an asset * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Strong interpersonal and problem\-solving abilities * Basic Food Safety Certificate * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast\-paced environment
