




Summary: The Senior Architect oversees design and execution of projects from initiation to completion within a Project Management Consultancy, ensuring compliance with standards and stakeholder expectations. Engages in technical procurement and supports project completion/handover The Senior Architect plays a pivotal role within the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) framework, overseeing the design and execution of the Projects from initiation through completion, ensuring compliance with the standards, contractual obligations, and stakeholder expectations. Key Responsibilities * Design Management: Responsible for proposing, advising, and facilitating the implementation and coordination of project designs. Manages project design processes from start\-up through to completion. Leads the preparation of Architectural design strategies, pre\-concept designs, layouts, and manages detailed designs for all project phases. * Work in Progress Monitoring: Reviews and evaluates work scopes, project schedules, drawings, RFIs, payments, and material submittals to ensure alignment with the standards. Monitors performance of appointed consultants and contractors from an engineering perspective. * Technical Procurement Liaison: Supports the selection of consultants and contractors. Coordinates closely with planners and relevant procurement teams. * Completion \& Handover: Reviews, endorses, and signs off on consultancy and contractor completion certificates, ensuring all deliverables meet the required standards and contractual obligations. * Strategy \& Business Planning: Reviews business plans provided by the Business Department and contributes to the preparation of the Projects Implementation Strategy. * Budgets \& Resource Management: Ensures strict adherence to departmental budgets while ensuring optimal utilization of available resources. Assists in monitoring and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. * Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in architectural design and PMC projects. * Strong experience in large\-scale mixed\-use, commercial, hospitality, or infrastructure projects. * Excellent knowledge of project coordination, design management, and construction supervision. * Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Proficiency in architectural software and project coordination tools. Preferred Qualifications * GCC experience is highly preferred. * Experience working with international consultants and contractors. * PMP or relevant professional certifications are considered an advantage.
