The successful candidate will provide specialist geological and environmental expertise, supporting environmental assessments, site investigations and compliance activities. ### **Duties \& Responsibilities** * Conduct geological and environmental site assessments and investigations. * Evaluate soil, groundwater and geological conditions and identify potential environmental risks. * Support environmental impact assessments, remediation and monitoring programmes. * Interpret geological and environmental data and prepare technical reports. * Provide technical recommendations relating to environmental risks and site conditions. * Work closely with environmental, engineering and other technical teams. * Ensure activities comply with applicable environmental legislation, industry standards and HSE requirements. * Support project documentation, data management and technical deliverables. * Minimum **7 years of relevant experience** as an Environmental Geologist or in a similar role within Oil \& Gas or related industries. * Degree in Geology, Environmental Geology, Geoscience or a related discipline. * Strong knowledge of geological and environmental assessment techniques. * Experience with environmental investigations, soil/groundwater assessment and monitoring. * Good understanding of environmental regulations and industry standards. * Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills. * Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. ### **Benefit of Working with Visuna?** * A dedicated member of the team responsible for your placements and welfare * Some of the best day rates in the industry * FREE worldwide insurance and Medevac cover whist on a Placement * 24/7 access to our specialist support team * Assistance and advice on a range of business topics * FREE access to our Competency Scheme * Increased exposure to potential clients and more placement opportunities
