




Job purpose The Logistic and Fleet Management Supervisor oversees day‑to‑day logistics operations and the vehicle fleet to ensure safe, cost‑effective and timely movement of goods, equipment, and staff. The role coordinates drivers, routes, maintenance, and warehouse/yard activities to support business operations efficiently. Main responsibilities * Plan, organize and supervise daily logistics activities: loading/unloading, deliveries, pickups, and stock movements. * Manage the vehicle fleet (cars, vans, trucks, equipment): allocation, dispatching, routing and optimization of trips. * Monitor and control drivers’ schedules, attendance, performance and compliance with safety and traffic regulations. * Coordinate and follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance of vehicles, including inspections, repairs and technical checks. * Use fleet management / GPS systems to track vehicle location, usage, fuel consumption and driver behavior. * Control logistics and fleet costs (fuel, maintenance, repairs, fines, rentals) and propose optimizations. * Ensure correct documentation for transport, deliveries and inventory (delivery notes, waybills, checklists, logs, service records). * Handle incidents such as vehicle breakdowns, delays, accidents and customer complaints; escalate when needed. * Enforce company policies, HSE rules, and legal requirements related to transport, drivers and vehicles. * Prepare periodic reports on fleet performance, logistics KPIs, service quality and incidents. Required skills and qualifications * Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, transport management or related field (often at least a logistics diploma). * Proven experience (typically 2–5\+ years) in logistics, transport or fleet supervision, preferably in GCC. * Strong knowledge of routing, planning, fleet operations and basic mechanics/maintenance principles. * Good leadership and people‑management skills to supervise drivers and logistics staff. * Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities and solve operational problems quickly. * Computer skills (Excel, logistics or fleet management systems, GPS platforms). * For Doha: valid local driving license often required; English mandatory, Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.
