**Position:** Rigger **Department:** NOC Department **Location:** Qatar **Reporting To:** Site Supervisor / Lifting Supervisor / Safety Officer **Key Responsibilities** * Assist in lifting, moving, and positioning heavy materials, equipment, and machinery. * Inspect lifting gears, slings, shackles, and rigging tools before use. * Communicate clearly with crane operators using standard hand signals or radio communication. * Attach loads securely to cranes, forklifts, and hoisting equipment. * Ensure all lifting operations comply with safety standards and site procedures. * Set up rigging equipment such as pulleys, blocks, chokers, chains, and winches. * Guide and align loads safely during lifting and lowering operations. * Support NOC team with material handling and site coordination tasks. * Report unsafe conditions, damaged lifting equipment, or near\-miss incidents immediately. * Maintain good housekeeping around work areas. **Requirements** * Minimum 2–4 years of rigging experience (construction/oil \& gas preferred). * Valid Rigger Certificate (Level 1 / Level 2\) preferred. * Knowledge of lifting plans, load charts, and safety regulations. * Ability to understand instructions and follow safe lifting practices. * Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks. * **Local candidates only** (as per requirement). **Skills** * Rigging and material handling * Load securing and balancing * Hand signal communication * Team coordination * Safety awareness Job Type: Full\-time Experience: * rigger: 2 years (Required)
