Seat guests by offering a clean and available table, pulling out chairs, placing updated and clean menus in front of each guest, etc. Guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance when needed. Move and arrange tables, chairs, and place settings to accommodate special group needs. Ensure proper place settings with napkins, clean utensils, and all other standard place setting items for each guest. Check menus to ensure they are updated, clean, complete, and wrinkle-free. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using consistent cleaning procedures. Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being in dining areas. Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, and complete required safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak clearly and professionally with others and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team members to achieve common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education:High school diploma or equivalent certification from a General Educational Development (GED) program.
