Seat guests at an available, clean table, pull out chairs, and place a current, clean menu in front of each guest. Guide guests through the dining room and assist them as needed. Move and arrange tables and chairs, adjust overall layout, and manage seating for groups with special needs. Verify that settings are appropriate and that each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and all other standard items. Check that sufficient menus are available and that they are current, clean, and wrinkle-free. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day and follow ongoing cleaning procedures. Monitor availability of seating in dining rooms, service, safety, and guest well-being. Follow and apply all chain safety policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and any unsafe working conditions; complete required safety training and obtain necessary certifications. Ensure wearing a clean and complete uniform; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times in the workplace; respect confidentiality when sharing information related to the brand and/or hotel, and protect all company assets. Welcome and serve all guests according to brand standards. Use clear and courteous language in all communications; answer the phone using appropriate language. Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers; work together and support one another to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to other employees' concerns. Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards. Be accustomed to standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods of time. Move, lift, carry, pull, and place loads weighing up to 4.5 kilograms independently. Perform all other duties as directed by supervisors and consistent with the position.
