Adjust oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures. Remove frozen food items from freezers and thaw in refrigerators. Verify proper portioning, arrangement, and food garnish. Maintain food records. Monitor quality and quantity of prepared food. Provide necessary support during busy periods. Inform chefs of leftover food items for daily specials. Notify food and beverage service staff of special and sold-out menu items. Inspect food quality. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists. Prepare cold food items. Support management in employee recruitment, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching, and serve as a role model. Comply with all company, safety, and security policies and procedures, report service issues, accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management, and complete required safety training and certifications. Maintain uniform and personal appearance neatly and professionally, keep confidential information private, and protect company assets. Anticipate and address customer service needs. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team in achieving common goals, listen to other employees' concerns, and respond appropriately. Adhere to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Perform tasks involving reaching above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
