Adjust oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures. Remove food from freezers and thaw in refrigerators. Ensure proper portioning and plating. Manage food records. Monitor quality and quantity of cooked food. Communicate necessary support during peak periods. Inform chef of leftover ingredients for use in daily changing menus. Communicate special or sold-out menu items to food and beverage service staff. Ensure ingredient quality. Prepare food following recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and cooking checklists. Prepare cold foods. Assist management in employee recruitment, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching, serving as a role model. Comply with all company safety and security policies and procedures. Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Anticipate and address guest service needs, communicating clearly and professionally with others. Listen to other employees' concerns, take appropriate action, and ensure expected quality and standards are met. Perform duties requiring prolonged standing, sitting, walking, bending, twisting, reaching above and below the shoulders, pulling, and squatting. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. Perform other reasonable job duties as required by management. Preferred Qualifications Education: Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
