Work with cutting-edge backend technologies and cloud platforms **Job Description** **We are looking for a skilled API Developer with 2–3 years of experience in designing, developing, and integrating APIs and backend services. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience with RESTful APIs, third\-party integrations, and backend development frameworks, along with strong problem\-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.** **Key Responsibilities** * **Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.** * **Integrate third\-party APIs and external systems.** * **Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and stakeholders to understand business requirements.** * **Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.** * **Troubleshoot and resolve API performance and integration issues.** * **Ensure security, authentication, and data protection standards are implemented.** * **Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs and integrations.** * **Participate in code reviews and contribute to system improvements.** * **Monitor application performance and optimize APIs for speed and scalability.** **Required Skills \& Qualifications** * **2–3 years of experience in API/backend development.** * **Strong knowledge of REST APIs and web services.** * **Experience with one or more backend technologies such as:** * **Node.js** * **Java/Spring Boot** * **Python** * **.NET** * **Familiarity with JSON, XML, and API testing tools like Postman or Swagger.** * **Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.** * **Understanding of authentication methods like OAuth, JWT, and API security best practices.** * **Knowledge of Git/version control systems.** * **Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.** * **Strong communication and teamwork abilities.** **Preferred Qualifications** * **Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure.** * **Exposure to microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker.** * **Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.** **Education** * **Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.** * **Nice to Have Experience working on enterprise integrations or mapping/location\-based APIs.** * **Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.** Pay: From QAR10,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
