This role extends beyond beverage creation and remains fundamentally a profession where guest service is paramount. Bartenders must use their knowledge and expertise to ensure the bar is welcoming and operates flawlessly. They must communicate and collaborate effectively with the entire hotel team as well as the broader community, anticipating and responding to guest needs. A strong commitment to guest service and attention to detail is essential—from the moment money changes hands at the bar, to beverage quality, to the advice provided to guests. Regardless of your specific role, certain fundamentals are critical to success: maintaining a safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures or confidentiality requirements. Additionally, it is important to uphold company values through personal appearance, including uniform standards. Bartenders must remain standing and active for extended periods (standing, sitting, walking…), and engage physically in tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds (11.4 kg) unassisted; reaching items overhead or on the floor, which may involve bending and torso rotation. It is essential that employees perform all these tasks with precision. In doing so, our guests will always be satisfied and our business will continue to thrive. RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent. Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: None.
