Summary: Responsible for repairing, restoring, and creating upholstered furniture and cushioned items with high-quality workmanship following design specifications and safety standards. Opportunity to showcase craftsmanship and attention to detail We need someone responsible for repairing, restoring, and creating upholstered furniture and other cushioned items by using fabric, leather, foam, springs, and padding materials. They ensure high\-quality workmanship while following design specifications and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities** \* Measure, cut, and install fabric, leather, foam, and padding materials. \* Repair and restore sofas, chairs, beds, cushions, and other upholstered furniture. \* Remove old upholstery and replace damaged materials. \* Operate upholstery tools and equipment such as sewing machines, staplers, and cutting tools. \* Read and interpret design drawings, measurements, and customer requirements. \* Ensure proper fitting, finishing, and appearance of upholstered products. \* Conduct quality checks on finished work. \* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. \* Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies. \* Coordinate with supervisors, carpenters, and interior fit\-out teams when necessary. **Requirements and Qualifications** \* Proven experience as an Upholsterer or similar role. \* Knowledge of upholstery materials, fabrics, leather, foam, and furniture structures. \* Ability to use upholstery tools and sewing machines. \* Good measuring, cutting, and stitching skills. \* Attention to detail and craftsmanship. \* Physical ability to lift and move furniture items. \* Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills \* Furniture restoration and repair experience. \* Basic carpentry knowledge. \* Time management and problem\-solving skills. \* Ability to meet deadlines and production targets. Working Conditions \* Work may be performed in workshops, factories, construction sites, or customer locations. \* May require standing for long periods and handling heavy materials or furniture.
