





**Role Overview:** The Video Editor will handle the end\-to\-end post\-production process for social media content, with a focus on dynamic editing, sound design, and motion graphics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advanced editing techniques, including masking, tracking, and rotoscoping, as well as proficiency in sound design and mixing. A keen eye for typography and design is essential, and the editor must be able to repurpose existing footage to create fresh, engaging content. **Key Responsibilities:** * Edit social media content, including short\-form videos, interviews, promos, and stories * Apply advanced editing techniques such as masking, tracking, and rotoscoping to enhance video quality * Incorporate motion graphics, typography, and visual effects to make content stand out * Perform sound design and mixing to ensure audio quality matches the visual experience * Color grade and fine\-tune footage to achieve the desired look and feel * Archive and organize footage efficiently for future use * Repurpose existing footage to create new content tailored to different platforms * Collaborate with creative teams to ensure the content aligns with brand guidelines and creative vision * Stay up\-to\-date with video and social media trends, tools, and best practices * Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines **Qualifications:** * Minimum 3 years of professional experience in video editing, with a focus on social media content * Strong proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro * Experience with advanced editing techniques, including masking, tracking, and rotoscoping * Skilled in sound design and mixing, with knowledge of tools like Audition or Pro Tools * Expertise in motion graphics and typography, with a good sense of design aesthetics * Proficient in color grading software like DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere * Ability to repurpose existing footage for multiple content formats * Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and best practices for video content * Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast\-paced environment **Preferred:** * Experience working in a fast\-paced, creative environment * Knowledge of basic graphic design and visual storytelling
