The Planning Engineer (MEP) is responsible for preparing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules, progress, and resource allocations for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works. The role ensures timely project execution in alignment with design, cost, and quality objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to collect progress data and update schedules. * Integrate MEP activities with civil and architectural works to ensure proper sequencing. * Prepare look\-ahead programs and monitor project progress against baseline schedules. * Identify and analyze critical paths, delays, and potential risks; recommend recovery plans. * Generate progress reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) highlighting key performance metrics. * Support tendering and estimation teams with project planning and resource forecasting. * Review subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with overall project timelines. * Attend coordination meetings and provide input on schedule and resource issues. * Ensure compliance with project requirements, company standards, and client expectations.
