Work with luxury fabrics and high-quality finishing techniques **Abaya Tailor – Job Description** Location: Doha Department: Tailoring / Production Reports To: Master Cutter / Production Supervisor **Job Summary** We are looking for a skilled and experienced Abaya Tailor to join our tailoring team. The ideal candidate will specialize in stitching, assembling, altering, and finishing abayas with excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail. The tailor should be familiar with Gulf abaya styles, luxury fabrics, and high\-quality finishing techniques. **Key Responsibilities** Stitch and assemble abayas according to design specifications Perform alterations, fittings, and adjustments as required Handle sleeve work, piping, pleats, lining, and finishing details Work with luxury fabrics such as nida, chiffon, silk, linen, and crepe Attach embellishments, embroidery, lace, and accessories carefully Ensure neat stitching and high\-quality finishing standards Follow measurement charts and pattern instructions accurately Operate industrial sewing machines and tailoring equipment Repair damaged garments and perform modifications when needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area Complete orders within production deadlines **Required Skills \& Qualifications:** Minimum 2–5 years of experience in abaya tailoring Strong sewing and garment finishing skills Experience with abaya cuts and Gulf fashion styles Ability to work with delicate and premium fabrics Knowledge of industrial sewing machines Attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and in a team environment **Preferred Qualifications** Experience in abaya boutiques or fashion ateliers Knowledge of hand finishing and embroidery work Basic understanding of garment measurements and fittings **Working Conditions** Full\-time position Boutique or workshop environment May require overtime during busy seasons or Eid collections **Salary \& Benefits** Competitive salary based on experience Accommodation and transportation (if applicable) Annual leave and company benefits as per labor law Opportunity to work with designer and luxury abaya collections Work Location: In person
