Summary: Manage, optimize, and maintain smart transport systems, including CCTV, VMS, and speed radars, to ensure road safety and efficiency in Qatar. Highlights: 1. Manage and optimize smart transport systems for road safety. 2. Troubleshoot ITS roadside equipment and integrate new technologies. 3. Utilize traffic data to improve incident response and road safety. We are looking for an **ITS Engineer** to manage, optimize, and maintain our smart transport systems. You will handle tech like CCTV cameras, variable message signs (VMS), and speed radars to keep Qatar's roads safe and moving.**What You Will Do:** * **System Maintenance:** Monitor and troubleshoot ITS roadside equipment, networks, and control center systems. * **Integration:** Install, test, and connect new smart traffic technologies to the existing road network. * **Data Analysis:** Use traffic data from sensors and radars to improve incident response and road safety. * **Coordination:** Work closely with government authorities (like Ashghal and MOI) on smart traffic projects. **What We Are Looking For:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Engineering. * **Experience:** Proven experience in ITS design, network configuration, or traffic control center operations. * **Skills:** Strong knowledge of fiber optics, CCTV systems, networking, and traffic management software. * **Local Knowledge:** Familiarity with Qatar's road infrastructure standards and Ashghal regulations is a plus. * **Driver's License:** A valid Qatar driver’s license is required for field visits.
