We are hiring a Procurement Engineer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of construction materials, equipment, and subcontracted services. The successful candidate will ensure timely procurement, cost efficiency, and compliance with project specifications. The role requires strong coordination with project teams and fluency in **Arabic and English**. Key Responsibilities * Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and material requirements * Plan and execute procurement activities for civil, architectural, and MEP works * Source, evaluate, and select local and international suppliers and subcontractors * Prepare RFQs, analyze technical and commercial offers, and prepare comparison sheets * Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contracts * Issue purchase orders and follow up deliveries to construction sites * Coordinate with engineering, site, planning, and QA/QC teams * Ensure materials comply with project specifications, local standards, and client requirements * Maintain procurement records, reports, and supplier databases * Support cost control, budgeting, and value engineering initiatives Requirements \& Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field * Minimum **5–7 years** experience as a Procurement Engineer in construction projects * Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and subcontracting * Experience in bid evaluation (technical \& commercial) * Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors * Ability to prepare, review, and administer purchase orders and subcontracts * Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and services * Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems * Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines Job Type: Full\-time Application Question(s): * What is your nationality * How do you review and verify technical specifications and BOQs before issuing RFQs for construction materials? * What technical criteria do you use to evaluate and compare supplier offers for civil or MEP materials?
